Yom Kippur

Description
Yom Kippur, or the “Day of Atonement,” is a time for deep self-reflection, dedicated to spiritual purification and renewal. It is believed that by striving to improve relationships with others, we contribute to improving the world.
During Yom Kippur, it is customary to wear white and avoid leather shoes, which in biblical times were considered a symbol of wealth. Even Jews who do not observe Jewish customs on other days refrain from work, fast, and attend synagogue on this day.
